Description
I have a CSV file that was an export of a UV-5R file. I am unable to import it in to CHIRP. Any suggestions? I can send the files I have if it would help determine the problem. Trying to setup new radios for a fire department

Something changed the files encoding to UTF-8 BOM. CHIRP apparently doesn't support it. I have converted the file to Windows-1252 encoding and saved with both DOS and UNIX line endings. Both will import/load into CHIRP.
