3 | This "error" is not actually a problem, but rather is telling the user that the radio in use does not support re-assigning memories to banks. Some radios claim to have "bank" capability, but do not allow arbitrary assignment of memories to a bank. Instead, they statically assign memories to banks by their *location*. |

11 | 2 | Dan Smith | For these types of radios, the banks in CHIRP is view-only. It shows you which memories are in which bank according to the radio's rule. You cannot change this assignment, and thus clicking on any of the boxes in an attempt to change this will result in the above error message. Please _do not file a bug_ for this as it is an innate and unchangeable property of the radio and CHIRP cannot work around this. If you want a radio with assignable banks, choose a higher-end model with more flexibility. |
